Undercover Sting Results in 7 Arrests

An undercover operation dubbed "Operation Frontpage" was conducted by the Coventry and West Greenwich Police Department at a local hotel over the weekend. The Operation resulted in the arrests of seven men on charges of the procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. The Operation was designed to undercover the underworld of sex trafficking in suburban communities. A number of different communities have conducted similar operation this year, including operations by the Providence Police that have resulted in 42 arrests this year.

Recently, there have been an increasing number of arrests for charges of procuring sexual conduct for a fee in Rhode Island.
