CRIMINAL CHARGE:  MISDEMEANOR SHOPLIFTING

We at Marin and Barrett, Inc. are happy to announce another successful outcome.  Specifically, the dismissal of a shoplifting charge in Providence County District Court.  The police were called to a local supermarket after a shopper had been apprehended after failing to scan all of the items at the self-checkout station.  The police compared and the goods and the receipt and concluded that some items had not been paid for, and arrested our client on a shoplifting charge.
