CRIMINAL CHARGE: MISDEMEANOR SHOPLIFTING

The police were called to a local supermarket after a shopper had been apprehended after failing to scan all of the items at the self-checkout station. The police compared and the goods and the receipt and concluded that some items had not been paid for, and arrested our client on a shoplifting charge.
After doing a thorough workup of our client's history, we were able to reach an agreement with the police department and the store to dismiss the charges upon completion of nominal conditions. The case was dismissed after a single court appearance.
