CRIMINAL CHARGES: UNLAWFUL DRINKING AND MISREPRESENTATION BY UNDERAGE PERSONS (R.I.G.L. Section 3-8-6)

We are pleased to announce that a misrepresentation of age by underage persons charge which had been brought in the Kent County District Court against a young college student Client has been dismissed.  Our Client was arrested at a local bar with friends.  She was stopped by the Police and asked for identification.  The Client provided the Police with a fake ID and was issued a summons for misrepresentation of age by an underage person as she had not yet reached 21 years of age.

After discussions with the local Police Prosecution, we were able to negotiate a dismissal of all charges after our Client completed community service at a local non-profit organization.
