(1) DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT
(2) DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Marin and Barrett, Inc. is extremely pleased to report that charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct against our client Washington County District Court have been dismissed.  The Police were dispatched to a residence for the report of a couple fighting.  A neighbor reported hearing what she thought was an argument, only to look outside and allegedly see our client strike the other party.  The officers on scene conducted their investigation, concluded that our client was the primary aggressor, and arrested him.

Once we were hired we got to work getting the police reports, speaking with the parties involved, and trying to coordinate a defense.  Notwithstanding the Court being largely shut down due to COVID-19, we were able to coordinate with the town and the alleged victim in the case, and ultimately were able to secure a dismissal of all charges against our client.
