CHARGES:
(1) DOMESTIC VANDALISM
(2) DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Attorney Jason Ollman with the Marin, Barrett & Murphy Law Firm successfully defended a case involving a client charged with domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct. The charges stemmed from an arrest made by the North Kingstown Police on May 10, 2022.
Upon the client's family contacting our firm, Attorney Ollman promptly scheduled a meeting with the Client to discuss the incident and understand the circumstances surrounding the charges. Together, we developed a comprehensive plan to address the client's needs and guide them towards appropriate counseling.
At the first pre-trial date, armed with documentation from multiple providers showcasing the client's progress in treatment, our legal team presented the evidence to the prosecutor. Recognizing the client's commitment to self-improvement, the prosecutor agreed to dismiss the case. As a result, our client maintains a clean criminal record, avoids mandatory domestic violence classes, and is able to focus on the counseling that is genuinely needed to move forward.
CASE RESULTS: ALL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CHARGES DISMISSED on June 16th, 2023
