CHARGE: DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT (R.I.G.L. 11-45-1)
Once again, the criminal defense lawyers at Marin and Barrett, Inc. are happy to report another client charged with a domestic offense has had their charges completely dismissed. Police officers in Kent County were called to a residence for reports of our client acting hysterical and violent. Upon arriving on scene the police spoke to everyone involved and ultimately arrested our client – who gave a full admission. The Police charged our Client with the misdemeanor charge of domestic disorderly conduct.
After being hired to handle the matter we promptly got to work securing a good outcome. First off, we were able to secure out client permission to travel while we fought the case. We were then able to parse through the police report and impress upon the prosecutor that a conviction was not in anyone's best interest and they ultimately agreed to drop the charges. Our client can now once again enjoy a fully clean criminal record.
