The attorneys at Marin & Barrett, Inc. are are again happy to report the reduction of a second offense domestic assault and battery charge in the Newport District Court and the dismissal of domestic disorderly conduct charges.  Police officers in Newport County received a call of a couple that had just left a bar involved in a physical altercation on the sidewalk.  Officers responded to find the street to find the alleged victim on the sidewalk injured.  After a brief investigation, the officers arrested our client on domestic assault and disorderly conduct charges.
