Domestic Assault Charge Dismissed in the Providence County District Court

CHARGE: DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT AND BATTERY

The Law Offices of Matthew T. Marin, Esq., Inc. is pleased to report that a charge of domestic simple assault and battery pending against a Client in the Providence County Court has been dismissed.  Our Client was arrested after the police responded to a disturbance involving our Client, his long-time girlfriend, and his step-son.  It was alleged that our Client had physically restrained his adult step-son during a heated argument.  Based on the evidence obtained by the Police after conducting witness interviews, our Client was arrested and charged with domestic simple assault.
