Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct Charges Dismissed in the Kent District Court

CHARGES:
(1) SIMPLE ASSAULT AND BATTERY
(2) DISORDERLY CONDUCT (FIGHTING, VIOLENT, THREATENING, TUMULTUOUS BEHAVIOR)

The Law Offices of Matthew T. Marin, Esq. Inc. is pleased to report the DISMISSAL of disorderly conduct and simple assault charges that had been brought against a Client in the Kent County District Court.  The charges stemmed from a fight on the street that resulted in two individuals, including our Client, being charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.  After some extensive pre-trial negotiations, the Prosecution agreed to dismiss both charges.

RESULT: BOTH CHARGES DISMISSED on November 23rd, 2016
