Shoplifting Charge Dismissed in the Providence District Court 10/31/17

(1) MISDEMEANOR SHOPLIFTING
(2) MISDEMEANOR CONSPIRACY

Inc., we are extremely pleased to report that the charges of misdemeanor shoplifting and misdemeanor criminal conspiracy pending against our Client in the Providence County District Court have been dismissed. The Police were called to a local grocery store for a reported shoplifting. Store security had alleged that our Client and her friend whom she was shopping with had attempted to leave the store without paying for assorted grocery store merchandise. The Client was arrested and charged with misdemeanor shoplifting and misdemeanor conspiracy and given an arraignment date in the Providence County District Court.
After having discussions with the Police Prosecution, we were able to negotiate a dismissal of the charge after our Client performed some community service.
