Minor in Possession of Alcohol Charge Dismissed and Expunged 6/7/17

CRIMINAL CHARGES: POSSESSION OF BEVERAGE BY UNDERAGE PERSONS (R.I.G.L. Section 3-8-10)

At the Law Offices of Matthew T. Marin, Esq. Inc., we are pleased to announce that a charge which had been brought in the Providence County District Court against a young college student Client has been dismissed.  Our Client was arrested leaving a local liquor store.  She was stopped by the Police and asked for identification.  The Client was issued a summons for possession of beverage by an underage person as she had not yet reached 21 years of age.

After discussions with the local Police Prosecution, we were able to negotiate a dismissal of all charges after our Client completed community service at a local non-profit organization.
