Johnston Science Teacher Arraigned on Felony Financial Crimes

A science teacher from Johnston High School was arraigned Friday on three felony charges arising out of a financial crimes investigation.  The charges include two counts of forgery and counterfeiting and one of embezzlement.  The charges resulted from an investigation by Johnston police detectives in consultation with the R.I. State Police Financial Crimes Unit and after review by the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General's Office.
