Marin and Barrett, Inc. is extremely pleased to report that charges of Felony domestic assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic disorderly conduct against our client in Providence County Superior Court have been reduced to a non-domestic petty misdemeanor.  The police were dispatched to a parking lot for the report of our client intentionally running someone on a bicycle down with an automobile.  The police took statements from the alleged victim and the witness who called the police, and ultimately decided to arrest and charge our client with felony domestic assault.

After we were hired to defend our client, we conducted our investigation and got to the bottom of what really took place.  After numerous conferences with the police and the prosecution, the charges were reduced to non-domestic petty misdemeanors with no jail or probation, preserving our client's liberty in the short term and record in the long term.  If you or a loved one is facing a domestic violence charge in Rhode Island, give the experienced criminal defense attorneys at Marin and Barrett, Inc. a call for immediate and experienced legal advice and criminal defense representation.
