(1) FELONY ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER WITH INJURY
(2) SIMPLE ASSAULT
(3) RESISTING ARREST
(4) DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Attorney Matthew Marin is pleased to report that felony charges of Assault on a Police Officer resulting in Physical Injury have been dropped.  Our Client had been facing a three year felony offense for an altercation that took place between himself and a Bristol, RI police officer in 2015.  The felony charge was dropped in the Providence Superior Court at the conclusion of successful plea negotiations which resulted in a misdemeanor simple assault charge being Filed for one year (stay out of trouble for one year).  The Filing, if successfully completed, will allow our Client to expunge the case from his record in one year.  If you or a loved one are facing felony assault charges in Rhode Island, give Attorney Matthew Marin a call for immediate and experienced legal advice and representation.
