Attorney Nicholas Parrillo with the Marin and Barrett law firm is particularly pleased to announce to complete dismissal of DUI and resisting arrest charges brought against our Client. Police in Kent County were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident where a car had crashed onto a front lawn. When the police arrived our client immediately became combative and refused to cooperate. After a lengthy investigation the police decided to arrest our client on drunk driving charges and resisting arrest. Once at the station our client took a breathalyzer test which yielded results well over .15.
After meeting and extensively reviewing the case, we were able to get a clear view of what was going on in our Client's life that explained the behavior on that particular night. After numerous conferences with the prosecution and Judge, the City ultimately agreed to dismiss the case in the interest of justice based upon the strength of the mitigating information we were able to present on our Client's behalf. Thanks to that our client now enjoys a clean criminal record and is back on track with life.
