Shoplifting Charges Dismissed in the Kent County District Court on 12.15.20
December 2020
CHARGE:
(1) SHOPLIFTING
(2) CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT SHOPLIFTING
The attorneys at Marin & Barrett, Inc. are once again pleased to announce a great outcome for a client of ours facing shoplifting related charges. Officers in Kent County were called to a grocery store for a report of two shoplifters attempting to bypass the self-checkout station. Both were immediately arrested on scene.
After hiring us to undertake their cases we were able to come to an arrangement with the Police Department and the store that not only wound up getting the case dismissed, but also prevented our clients from ever having to go to court. Now that are back to life as normal with a clean criminal record. We were also able to preserve one client's naturalization track allowing her to continue her pursuit of U.S. citizenship. If you or a loved one is facing criminal shoplifting charges in Rhode Island, give Attorney Nicholas Parrillo at Marin and Barrett, Inc. a call for immediate and experienced legal advice and representation.
