(1) DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT (R.I.G.L. 11-45-1(a)(1))
(2) OBSTRUCTION OF OFFICER IN EXECUTION OF HIS DUTY
Marin and Barrett, Inc. is extremely pleased to report that charges of domestic disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer in the execution of his duty brought against our Client in the Kent County District Court has been dismissed. The Police were dispatched to a report of an altercation between two intoxicated females. The Police located our Client who was intoxicated and walking in the roadway. After interviewing her and the other party, her sister, the Police made the decision to charge our Client with domestic disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer in the execution of his duty.
Once we were hired to defend our Client, we began a thorough investigation including looking into the background of our Client's sister and the altercation. After having numerous discussions with the Prosecutor and our Clients sister, the charges were dismissed by the Prosecution in the Kent County District Court.
