Domestic Disorderly Conduct Charge Dismissed in Providence District Court on 9/17/2020

CHARGE: DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT (R.I.G.L. 11-45-1)

The criminal defense attorneys at Marin & Barrett, Inc. are pleased to report the dismissal of domestic violence charges that had been brought against a Client during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The case arose when the Providence Police were called to a domestic disturbance in the City.  When the Police arrived, they conducted an investigation that lead them to charge our Client for his alleged actions during an argument over alleged infidelity by his wife.  The Client's wife reported to the Police that the Client had taken her phone and threatened her.  The Providence Police then arrested our Client and charged him the misdemeanor charge of domestic disorderly conduct
