Domestic Violence Charges Dismissed in the Newport District Court on 2/17/17

CHARGES: 
(1) DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT AND BATTERY
(2) DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT

The Law Offices of Matthew T. Marin, Esq., Inc. is pleased to report that charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct pending against a Client in the Second Division District Court in Newport, RI have been dismissed.  Our Client was arrested after she was involved in an incident with her sister on Thanskgiving in 2016.  The Police were called to the home for a Family dispute.  After speaking with our Client's sister, the Police arrested our Client and charged her with two domestic violence offenses.
