CHARGE: DISORDERLY CONDUCT - INDECENT EXPOSURE (R.I.G.L. 11-45-2)
Marin and Barrett, Inc. is extremely pleased to report that a charge of disorderly conduct - indecent exposure brought against our Client in the Providence County District Court has been dismissed. The Police were called to a local park where an eyewitness told to the police that he had observed our Client acting in an indecent manner. Our Client was then arrested and charged with disorderly conduct - indecent exposure.
Once we were hired to defend our Client, we began a thorough investigation including looking into the background of the alleged witness. We were able to uncover the fact that the witness was a liar and a thief, with over 20 convictions for shoplifting, larceny, and similar fraud offenses. After having discussions with the Prosecutor, the case was passed for trial and ultimately dismissed by the Prosecution on the day of trial.
