Disorderly Conduct Charge Dismissed in Newport County District Court 10/18/17
October 2017
CHARGE: DISORDERLY CONDUCT (VIOLENT AND THREATENING BEHAVIOR)
At the Law Offices of Matthew T. Marin, Esq. Inc., we are happy to report the dismissal of a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct that had been brought against our Client by a local police department. Our Client had been arrested and charged for an altercation with bouncers at a popular local bar after he had been cut off by the bartender. Acting upon our advice, our Client was able to take steps to address potential substance abuse issues as well as write a heartfelt letter of apology to the employees of the bar. We were then able to negotiate a resolution of the charges with the City Police Department whereby our Client completed 20 hours of community service and the charge against him was dismissed. If you or a loved one is facing a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge in Rhode Island, give Attorney Matthew Marin a call for immediate and experienced legal advice and representation.
