Earlier this week the North Smithfield Police Department charged an employee of the Department of Public Works with misdemeanor larceny for stealing snow skis from a truck.  The skis were valued at approximately $1,200 and the employee is scheduled for an arraignment in the Kent County District Court in March.  To read more about the story, visit theProvidence Journal.
