1996 Felony First Degree Sexual Assault Case Expunged 10/11/17

October 2017

CHARGE: FELONY FIRST DEGREE SEXUAL ASSAULT

At the Law Offices of Matthew T. Marin, Esq. Inc., we are extremely pleased to report the EXPUNGEMENT of a felony first degree sexual assault case that had been on our Client's record since 1996.  The charge had been presented to a Grand Jury in 1996 who returned a "No True Bill" which means that they decided there was insufficient evidence for the Prosecution to proceed.  Although the case was immediately at that time eligible for expungement, our Client who lives out of State had not taken the steps necessary to have the charge removed from his record.  Even though he lived out of state in Florida, we were able to complete the entire expungement process without him having to return for Court.  If you or a loved one has an old Rhode Island case on your record and you would like to have it removed but you are not sure it can be done, contact Attorney Matthew Marin. We regularly assist out-of-state Clients to expunge very old cases from their records and would be happy to speak with you to discuss how we can expunge your record.  We are available 24/7 at 401-228-8271 or by email at [email protected].
