Who are the approved Rhode Island Ignition Interlock providers?

The Rhode Island DMV maintains a list of approved ignition interlock providers.  Each one of these will satisfy a Rhode Island District Court or Traffic Tribunal Order requiring an ignition interlock device.  They charge installation and monitoring fees that are separate and apart from fees that are required to be paid to the Court and the fees that are required to be paid to the DMV.  As of August 10th, 2017 there are five approved providers. Those providers are:

Each one of the providers listed above markets a different device and each has their own fees and policies.

From time to time, approved providers will be added or dropped from the approved list. If you have received an ignition interlock sentence from the Traffic Tribunal, the District Court, or the Superior Court, you must have your ignition interlock system installed and maintained by one of the RI DMV approved ignition interlock companies.
