WOONSOCKET – Woonsocket Police Officers Patrick Cahill. Joseph Brazil, and Justin LaRoche arrested Kyle H. Rivera, 24, of 174 Robinson St. this week on charges of possession of cocaine and marijuana, with intent to deliver.

Police say Rivera was caught attempting to dispose of 17 grams of cocaine and about 10 grams of marijuana with a combined street value of about $1,500. He was arraigned in district court and released after posting $40,000 surety bail.

Police say they spotted Rivera and his cache of drugs while searching for Steve Beaulieu, 27, who was wanted for domestic assault of his girlfriend. The Morin Heights residents was located at Rivera's apartment, arraigned and held as a violator on that charge.
